Nice one den.This shot just "oozes" atmosphere in my opinion. Time of day I neve see these days!
Perhaps try a teeny bit gamma drop but no big deal. Love the Contre jour halo too

Lovely soft colors, great sharpness on the owl, as John mentions, I see some graininess on the owl I'd like to reduce a little bit.

If this is a large crop then I would like to see the wider view. The lighting/ colour and background suggests to me that you may be able to make a nice presentation with the bird small in the frame and that being the case the IQ issues will diminish accordingly.

What a moody image you have here, and such amazing feather details on the face. You may wish to consider a bit more space all around as an option to emphasis the back lighting.

I would definitely go way smaller in the frame. It looks cropped, you shouldn't have....

I think there is something not quite right with the processing and or it is a large crop. How big was the crop? When you resized what algorithm did you use?

Minimal processing as not much needed, taken just after sunrise, cropped to 1200/1000, the original looks fine, I have a few more to edit so will check my workflow but this image looks stretched if that makes sense
