Hi Dan
I love seeing images of these beaches. I like the contrasting clear piece of ice right up front with the blue ones behind. Is this simply an effect of the varying angles of the fall of light or do the ice naturally have different hues?
A stark scene well portrayed given the weather conditions.

Hi Dan,

I like the composition and the ice in the fG is interesting but I only wish for better light to lift the sparkle level ... I wonder what would happen if you hit it with a flash with low power (close up from behind) or maybe a flashlight..?

Hi Dan, I like this one...it looks like it is half b&w and half color. I really like Don's suggestion of a flashlight behind the foreground iceberg remnant to make it stand out even more...might have been a fun experiment and something to try on a return trip. Very nicely done!
