I had to go to photograph a hacienda in Yucatan. I found the owner with this owl chick that fell from the nest.

What a cutie-pie and a great opportunity!!! Glad you made the most of it. Love the "perch" and the BG. I would crop out the bottom of that rock.

This one made me smile!
I like the green BG and the IQ.
Agree with Marina on cropping from the bottom.
Nice shot!

So cute, and so sad looking. Great perch, of which I agree cropping off the bottom part would strengthen the comp. I also would fill in the white areas in the BG. I love the talons gripping the rock, very neat.

I'm going to be the contrarian on the rock - to me, having so much rock and so little bird adds to the fragility/vulnerability of the chick.

Very nice!

Wow.. what a find, and comp!! Well done!! Agree, reduce dead space at bottom of rock.. creates an even stronger image!!
Cheers

Crop the bottom of the rock too.
Very cute chick. Hope it makes it to fledging stage.
Good comp, BG as per Daniel's suggestion.
Well done mate, thanks for sharing Lóri!
