I was cleaning up some images from our December 2014 trip to the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park (Kalahari Desert).
I captured this "vertorama" (horizontal images stacked vertically for a panorama) from the window of my vehicle driving over the red dune fields late one afternoon as a storm was building up.

Wonderful sky and light on the desert ground , I do wish you could have gotten more of the brush into the frame in the LRC.

I like that sky too morkel..! It has lots of depth and a bit of menace coming in from the right. The ground looks like it might have had recent rain.. Not sure i can add a lot more..

The menacing sky is key here for me. It gives the image depth, builds interest, adds drama and pulls the viewer in. I like these types of images. I wondering what a B&W would do for this. Good image here Morkel.

my only nitpick is the lower right shadow which competes with the dark clouds above and seems out of place...
