It is in nice light all right, just stunning. Technically fine but the leaves in front are a distraction. I also find it a bit tight in the frame. Regards, Ian

The iridescent feathers are simply stunning! And then the eye contact and HA grabs me. The background is nice a soft and further highlights this beautiful bird. I agree the bright foliage pulls at my attention, but I think you can crop right along the top of your signature to lessen the distraction. Perhaps add a little more room on the right.

What a enjoyable image!

Beautiful blues and purples on this fella...great job with those colours! Lots of punch. I like the pose and background a lot. More room above and right would be OK with me, and I'd look into darkening the pupil a bit. Super nice overall.

Beautiful detail and light Don. Well done! Any chance you can give the bird more space above and too the right. The crop just feels tight to me. TFS

Gorgeous bird, Don, agree with the comp critiques, but the IQ is superb.

Agree with Ian here mate.
What a ripper shot from the technical perspective though.

Hi Don, Super pose, and I like the curvature of the outline of the bird. Exposure looks great, and I do like those striking colours. You have a lovely smooth clean BG too.

Works for me Don.. i would suggest a bit more overall room on the right... the green s don't bother me at all, however the overall tightness does.... hopefully ya have some more room in the right top, and bottom Quad.
Good Shooting!!
