A very nice portrait. Nice exposed and processed with excellent DOF. Good processing. Strong eye contact. Thanks for sharing!

Lovely pose, perch and bg. Nothing against square comps, but I'd go more vertical with this one.

Very nice pose, perch and details. I like that we can see the feet. As pointed out subject is a bit too centered, I would place him lower in the frame and to the left.
Please also comment on other photographs from time to time

Thanks , I have neglected a lot of the perched shots recently mainly for trying for action shots but when I get this close to the little man it starts me back again going for the close to nature moments I get chance of with him ,I put a lot of pegs down in the soil that related to the the best spots to be in at certain times however the local cattle have decided to spoil that as I have lost them all and it took me a while to set them up and it does change as the weeks go on....

Lovely perch and BG you have here, and I like the pose and ruffled feathers on the owl. THe owl is too centered for my taste, and I would consider moving it down and left in the frame if you have the canvas.

I like the pose, perch, BG, eye contact and details. I agree with composition suggestions above. A real beauty Dennis!
