My first day in the hide with these beautiful raptors. However, I anticipated morning action, so had the perch set for morning light. A lot of good stuff happened late that afternoon and I had to be content with side lit images.
I don't mind side lighting at all, so I was still stoked with a few incoming shots of the sea eagles.

Canon EOS 5DMkIII
EF 70-200/2.8L IS USM + 1.4x set to 280mm
Manual mode, ISO 3200, f/5.6, 1/4000th
Hand held, hide and fish used to attract sea eagles

Small crop for composition. Selected dark half and applied a light S/H adjustment to lighten it.
Should've levelled it too.

I like the landing pose, wing tips, splayed tail and setting. I like the composition too with the OOF grasses in the bottom third. Very well done Akos.
Looking forward to seeing some of the morning images when they cooperate.

Another nice enviro shot, but this one is a bit too contrasty?

It's good to see the bg habitat on this shot, perfect landing pose ,bet it's a thrill working with these magnificent birds.

Lovely shot but I too think the contrast may be a tad high, easy for me to say I suspect the lighting was rather tricky to handle.

Perhaps might be able to tone down the tonal contrast a tad, and selective even out the opposite wing, and brighten up the dark side of the eye and face with this nice side lighting you captured..Great timing, and incoming pose!!

Excellent image in habitat. Beautiful landing pose with dandling feet. Nice composition.
