White Pelican

I found a group of White Pelican perched on a concrete wall at one of the lakes in the city of Lakeland, Florida. I did not want the concrete wall showing so my thoughts turned to a portrait. White Pelicans are normally on freshwater inland lakes, where as, Brown Pelicans are coastal in salt water. Image captured at Lake Morton, Lakeland, Florida.

Very pleasing portrait with subtle pastels and wonderful details in your white feathers. Your pose and comp work well. It wouldn't have been the same without that slight catch light.
