This was shot a few minutes after sunset, from about 2000 ft, coming into the local airport. The view is toward the coast over the north edge of the Sonoma-Napa wine country. Fog is just starting to form in the valleys as the air cools. Thanks to appalling air quality for the nice color. :t3
Canon 5D3, 100-400 II at 170, 1/250, f/5, ISO 1600. Hand held, of course. Basic processing in LR, some luminance smoothing, Clarity and exposure lowered about a stop -- I was still in ETTR mode but not really necessary on this one. Gradient masks for darkening the sky and lightening the ground. Into PS for some more NR.
