David agree House Sparrows are becoming a bit rare but after saying this think we might have a bit of an increase around my patch, of looks good just losing a bit on the tail, head looks nice and crisp and sharp.

Keith.

Nice one David
I have 12 pairs around the garden breeding in boxes which is nice.

PS Think you made a typo on the title.

Hi John. Common or Hedge?:e3 I'm pretty sure it's a sparrow. Have plenty of these in my garden because of the bird feed I put out. Glad that some of us are doing our bit.

House Sparrow. Hedge Spadgers are more or less grey bluey brown streaked all over- no contrasty bits.

Understand John. Have all sorts of of colours and streaks in the garden and they all live in my hedge.

I nice pose. The detail has held up but I'd kill the brightness of the yellow/green leaves.
Added to which , as far as I'm aware, the term 'Common' does not apply to any of the sparrow families.

Plenty House Sparrows in Oz!
I like the comp and sharpness/detail are great. If it were mine, I'd leave more room on the RHS.
