Taken in the Gambia ,pity the beird is slightly behind the perch but after dragging my gear about a mile or so along a beach in deep sand anything would have been ok,the beer mats advertising JulBrew have a picture of this bird on them so a cool one of that brew went down well.

Smart looking bird Keith. Nicely exposed and stands out well against the blue sky background. Good feather detail and head pose. I might try lightening the eye a little to see if there is any detail you could perhaps bring out. Glad you enjoyed the post shot beer!!

A smart bird and an unusual perch. The detail, colour and pose look good. Ok the bird is slightly disguised by the perch but for me it is no big deal at all. My only nit is that I'm not a fan of square aspect ratios....nice work Keith.

Hi Keith nice one, like the unusual perch, seems by the 'deposits' it's well used too.

Keith in PS if you go to Colour balance and move the Yellow slider (in Midtones) towards the right, say anywhere between 5 & 10, it may help on both the subject & perch? Just watch the slight halos around the subject.
