They were moving up North and stopped for a couple days to feed.
We saw one so tired that it could hardly stand.
It is tough to be a migrant.
Thanks for looking.

Nice one Karl. Nice gentle BG too . These are not the Siskins we get are they ?? Maybe
Anyway if you think its tough being a migrant - come to the UK (Oooops)

Not a stunning bird, but you really made this one stand out, Karl! Love what you've done here with just enough vegetation and great details.

Sharpening well covered Karl, like the setting and the pose of the bird, looks much like the females of our Siskin, nice piece of work.

I love the environment with the hint of vegetation in the BG and the branch on the right. I might crop in a bit from the left and loosen the comp. a bit on the right. IQ of the bird does appear it could be improved.

Great work Karl. If it were mine, I'd trim the stem off the RHS.
Fabulous detail!

Looks great overall! I love the perch with fresh leaves, BG, pose. You could remove the pale streak touching the tail, and I'd give back about an inch or so on the right (if you have it) to get the stem a bit farther from the edge.

Very nice Karl.
