Banking Osprey...Canon 7DmkII with100-400 mkII +1.4mkII extender. ISO 1250,f8@1600sec handheld. Even with my older mkII extender this combo seems to focus more then fast enough for ospreys and eagles which was a nice surprise. RAW converted in DPP,resized and sharpened in PS. Thanks for looking and any CC.

Not bad at all Joe :), cracker background and lovely wing position and eye contact. I would be tempted to give a bit more space round the image but that is obviously subjective. TFS

Joe:
Nice DOF, diagonal line, detail in plumage and harmonious colors.
Agree about a sliver more room top and bottom.
In a perfect world, would prefer the bill to not merge with the wing.
Glad this combo is working for you!

Beautiful pose and great details on the Osprey. I agree about adding a bit more room around the frame.

Excellent shot finely focussed great detail, I too would suggest a little more canvas.

Fab shot Joe. I like the details and sharpness on the bird. Nice HA and the colours on the BG blend nicely with the subject. Nice work

Hi Joe, love the diagonal flight pose across the frame, well exposed showing good underwing feather detail. I do like the colours of the BG, and agree, a touch more room wont harm the image.

Good one Joe! I think a little more space all around would take this up a notch.

very nice, great wing position and good exposure. I also wish the beak had not merged with he far wing, a bit more room would be nice as well
