Great positioning Joe and I love the BG with an indication of the vegetation.
Good one. I reckon a bi of "punch" would help. Something simple like a gamma drop would do in my workflow.. Others may have more complcated methods

I too like the vegetation at bottom, especially the larger leaves. An OK flight pose, well balanced comp. A bit of bad luck with the yellowish spots in the background being aligned behind the heron's head.

Hi Joseph, decent flying pose (especially for herons) and nice habitat shot. I like the second post best, as it removes what was a it of a bdistracting BG behind the heron's head. TFS
