My first photo of a kingbird. Found him next to a pond. A little contrast and saturation added, nothing else. Thanks for looking.

Beautiful bird, interesting perch, nice look back pose, complimenting background. Maybe just a touch too much contrast for my tastes, but that is personal. Nice image, thanks for sharing.

Joe, I agree. Everything is blocking up. Here it is without a contrast adjustment, I did bring the blacks down about 3 points. Thanks.

I like the look-back pose, and the fantastic layered background. Harsh light though, and the ending of the perch is not ideal IMO. Cropping this way helps with that, and also eliminates the dark blotches above:

Good one maybe a vertical woud work?
Would be nice for a bit more BG detail in my honest opinion.
