This is a palm tree with the setting sun glowing through the fronds. In PS I used angled strokes and accented glow. From Flaming Pear I used kyoto color. I did this awhile ago as I am still absorbed in unpacking and arranging a household of stuff from my move to Arkansas last week! Just got my computer hooked up so at least now I can get back on-line.

An imaginative title and very striking image. The colors are great on their own, but the lighting adds extra magic. The strong, angled lines add a lot, too.

Hey, Nancy, I bet unpacking the computer was a great relief:S3: I really like the colors and the angles and the lighting as Dennis mentions. I think you could take a little off of the top without losing the impact of the image but I like it as it is. I'm glad you're settling in.

This is very cool! Was the effect all done with the software or did it start as an in-camera blur? Interesting that it's not obvious - to me, anyway.

I thought it must be, but it's so intriguing because of the sharp edges. Possibly the camera movement was along the edge, and probably emphasized by processing -- a surprising and very cool result!
