The last daisy image that I posted was made at f/32. This time I wanted to change perspective a bit and also open up quite a bit and try to soften the image. Here is the result. What do you think?

Canon 30D, 70-200mm f/2.8L IS with 500D Close-up Lens, 580 EX II Flash with Sto-Fen OmniBounce all handheld.

FL 105mm; 1/200 sec at f/4; ISO 800; 0 EV; FEC -1

Ed you are really outdoing yourself with this one, I love it. The selective focus is perfect for me. The flower is floating in a soft green BG. The little leaf tip next to the stem is in the perfect place and you nailed the comp, just the right amount of space, well done!! Congrats!

You are raising the bar for your work day by day! I am impressed.

Agree with the others and may I say you really got the whites right! They loook perfect against the yellow and the green.

Robert, Mike, Julie,

Thanks a million for the feedback. Lord knows, I try. I am also finding that I am becoming much more critical of my own work. I made a bunch of images thas morning that I would love to share but I am not happy with the backgrounds so I am holding them Maybe I'll find one that I like.

Thanks Bob. I don't really think of any of my images as "awesome" but it is still nice to hear that other folks like them. I guess if I thought I could make awesome images consistently, I would get out of this healthcare marketing thing, retire since I am almost 60, and focus on selling images. But...
