Beauty is in the eye of the beholder - I have taken pics of many Wild Turkeys over the years, but can't resist taking a shot - I just love the colors and textures !!

Wish he'd have turned toward you a bit for better eye contact and to get the beak in focus. Your details and color look good. I think he's cute!

He is cute, in an odd sort of way. I could wish for a touch more depth of field.

I can't resist these guys when the opportunity arises too! I like the crop, but yes a better head angle would have been ideal. I normally do not fret over dof...except for tight portraits where I do like to stop down for more of it. You caould have easily gone to f/8 - f/10 with higher ISO. I still like the image though, and makes me hope to see one of these guys soon:S3:

You've really showcased this beauty here, Bill. No suggestions for improvement. But I'll add the note that where I live in the boondocks of Maryland's Eastern Shore, we have a harem of more than a dozen hens on our property, and four toms.
