Taken in Ft Pierce, FL, in in overcast sky. You can see the shadow of it's stretching leg through the wing. :) Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

Very interesting and unusual sight. I like the stretched wing and leg visible through it. The plumage looks a bit dirty, not that you could have done anything about it. I might give it a bit more room.

Axel, sometimes the breeding cattle egrets get gold highlights on the wings and back feathers and not just the crest and breeding plumage. As it loses the color, they look like this one.

Wonderful captured moment with lovely breeding plumage and the stretched wing just puts it over the top for me. Fine work !!! Thanks for sharing Shawn.
