This warbler was photographed the last weekend again in Kirkini, GR.

Canon EOS-1D Mark II N,
Sigma 300-800mm f/5.6 EX DG APO IF HSM (used at 700mm)
f8 @ 1/1000, ISO 400, + 1/3

PP include levels, S/H, USM, no saturation or contrast.

A soft morning light would make this photo a superb shot, but I was there at noon,
14:20 PM.

Great setting and singing pose. The light looks a bit harsh but you handled it well.

Love the composition and habitat in this image Nikolay as well as the singing pose. As mentioned already the lighting was harsh but you handled it well. Thanks for sharing.

Very nicely done, I like the open bill and the habitat is to die for...congrats...:cool:

I think I can guess why they are called reed-warblers. :) I like the singing pose and the habitat associated with the bird. You might try lightening the shadowed portion of the bird's face and toning down the OOF whitish area in the center of the frame.

Great work in capturing him singing - I like the habitat as well.
