Another grab shot from the window of our SUV as we were making our way northward in the fossil riverbed of the Nossob river in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This river forms the boundary between South Africa and Botswana, but only experiences flash floods every 100 years or so :eek3:.

Very nice Morkel. My dream is to spend a couple weeks there visiting all the water holes and so forth, hopefully in the coming years. I think that the shot could use two adjustments, I first used nik to light up the foreground tree a tad bit. Also there is a slight red cast in the image, you can see it in the clouds on the upper left hand size, so I lowered that as well.

Beautiful colours here Morkel with a good tree FG, and lovely tones in the desert. I do see the magenta/pink in the sky and Dvir Gif RP has highlighted that well.

Nicely done Morkel. Dvir's GIF does show a touch of magenta cast being fixed. I really like the foreground tree and the grass surrounding it.

HI Morkel, Another quality image I need to try this technique of shooting out you car window as your driving by it sounds a lot easier then hiking up the side of a Canyon or walking miles on the beach :bg3:
