Like the composition, vivid colors of BG, details of bird and POV. Well done. TFS.

Very nice. I would move the bird to the right of the frame.
very nice light and I really find the BG foliage very appealing,
Gail

Hey Raybel. I love the soft light, the great low angle, and the sharpness. Just a bit more of a head turn towards you would have been ideal.... Hope that all is well. a

Lovely well crafted image of this species. I enjoy the colors, especially in the background. I see a well thought out shooting angle that shows a nice strip of the substrate in focus. A slightly more seperated leg positioning would have rocked even more...wonder if you have it in a sequence? Regardless, the pose captures the "stop and stare" foraging style of the species.

Thank you everyone for the comments and your input on the image.

Shawn, what you said is very true. They do have a funny "stop and stare" way of moving and feeding.

The nice background colors and the low shooting angle really make this one for me. I might take some off the bottom as seeing that much of the out of focus rocks doesn't work for me. Well done
