I think this might be the best photo I have ever taken?

Yesterday while up at the Carden Alvar in S. Ontario I heard this guy singing and had high hopes of achieving a photograph of him. I set up for him and eventually he cooperated. He only landed on my perch for a brief instant and I wasn't sure if I had captured the moment. When I looked in the viewfinder I was so ridiculously happy :) Isn't it great when you visualize a shot and it all comes together...

I hope you enjoy this one. Cheers!

Very well done. I hadn't read the description for this image and thought to myself, "there ya' go, Glenn"... I knew this was up there with one of your best. Very well composed, exposed, and super sharp.

Great setting, BG, pose, exposure and light. Maybe a tad less sharpening. I would be so happy to see this species sometime.

Great composition and pose. I like the perch and the soft green background. For my taste, I can do with a little less sharpening, especially along the feathers in the back...
