I have returned from my two week stay on the Caribbean island of Cayman Brac and have begun editing and processing the image files. Here is a scene from Pollard Bay on the east end of the island as I was approaching the bluff. This was captured a few minutes before the sun appeared on the horizon.

Hi Andrew, Really nice use of the foreground to pull the viewer into the image using the green vegetation and tidal pools.I also like how the bluff anchors the right side of the frame and the diagonal line of the shore break leading to it ad the nice sky and you have one very fine image.

Wonderful Sky Andrew..! The composition is very nice, lots of leading elements and it all works well for me. I also like the shutter speed selected.. the rock and the greenery look a little crunchy, only slightly, not sure if its sharpening or the actual way things looked... Sky is perfect..! very nice image...

Just gorgeous! All said above. What a wonderful sky, with bits reflected in the tidepools.

Agree it is a tad bit too sharp, otherwise really nice and natural and well done.

Really wonderful capture, Andrew! I was really wondering how you got such great tonal range with just one shot and then noticed that you used a graduated filter. Very nicely implemented.
I know some have said that it is a little too sharp, but I find it very well done specially with the rocks.

I love the plethora of colours in this one Andrew! Great scene.
I feel the midtones might be a tad too light? WDYT?

Good comments from above, this is a strong composition Andrew with lovely pinks in that sky.

Thanks so much folks, I appreciate the comments very much.

Morkel, I will take a look at the mid-tones as now that you mention it they could possibly use a slight tweak.
