First warm sunny spring days and butterflies are starting to feed and enjoy the sun. Not in mint condition, but still good looking after overwintering, this comma (Polygonia c-album) was feeding on willow catkins.

No sign of butterflies here yet either! The plane of focus is excellent, I suppose in an ideal world the butterfly would be at the top of the catkins so it would be nicely isolated by the background. The colours and exposure are as usual excellent.
