A really simple image of an ordinary looking blackbird, but the reason I'm sharing this image it's becasue it is the first ever recored sighting of one here. It presumebly found its way from Cuba to our Island somehow (maybe in a ship?). It is endemic to Cuba and to a small portion of Haiti I believe.

It was looking up mostly all the time while we were trying to photograph it. A few minutes after we saw a Peregrine Falcon fly by so I guess that was the reason.

Great capture Ray A very nice POV and I like how the FG blends with the BG and the lovely bird situated between them. Blacks look good and I like the pose. Thanks for sharing
