Nice shot full of detail and subtle colors. I like the view of the dewlap and the hanging claw.

Lovely detail and pose and the light is better than your previous post also the tones are better, less washed out. I am just seeing what looks like a lot oh halos around the edges especially along the spines on the back. What a cool looking reptile!

Hi Dan looks way better than previous Iguana image . A lot of stuff to look at in the skin . Overall it still does look a bit washed out , but could be just me :S3:. Agree with Dumay on the halos .
I really like the comp with the tree trunk going into the frame from RHS , well seen .

Hello Dan,

I agree with everyone above, this is such an improvement on the previous image in terms of colours and tonality! That hind leg outstretched makes this quite dramatic for me, the comp works well and there's so much detail on the subject - superb pose from this mini-dinosaur, and like Dumay just said: what a cool looking reptile, indeed!!!

Kind regards,

Hi Dan - I also agree that this looks a lot better than the prior image. I like the branch as a leading line. I also see the halos. Try adding less clarity and see if that helps with the halos.

Rachel

Like the body posture and HA, agree on the halos, will leave it to others re colour. Nice to see a different species.

For me the nicest one you've posted of this cool-looking species, Dan. Great pose and DOF control.
Agree on the halos, and some good suggestions received on them. Usually they are either the result of overdoing clarity, sharpening and shadow recovery...
