I just love the name and had to post a photo of one.
Terrible setting, (a feeder at the Puerto Vallarta Botanical Garden, a terrific place).
These jungle "turkeys", (not related at all) were common in the surrounding jungle but hang out in the canopy where they look
impossibly out of place. They are very agile in the treetops, they fly well and hang out in the highest tree limbs. They came to the feeder so I am posting this for just general viewing interest and they
have a great name.....
I did no real PP to this at all for obvious reasons.

great looking bird on a not so nice set up... I would have liked to catch it on a branch on something before it came down to eat... as you said

Neat bird for sure and yes the name is fun! The subject itself looks great. Is this a skittish bird? Would it have been possible to move up and wait for some tighter head and shoulder portraits?
