Neat pose here and I like the dangling talons. Was it feeding or in nest? The feathers on the nest have me curious about them. Light and light angle were tough, you did best you could with it but I do wish you had more frontal lighting.

It was feeding. I think it was either a rabbit or squirrel although I feel squirrel is most likely. There was very little left after it finished. I tried very conservative (for me) lifting of the shadows (25 in LR 5.7). I wished for more frontal lighting also.
