This was taken down the street at a local conservation area. It was taken in May during the spring migration. The warblers were everywhere and it provided lots of photo opportunities. I hope you like this small in frame image. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

Lovely setting Jim! Wonderfully exposed, great eye contact and bg. The green leaves makes and nice frame around the bird and makes it pop against the grey/brown bg

Nice one Jim. I think this works well, combining the colours on the BG, the bird and the leaves compliment each other. Lovely colours on the bird and a good HA. Maybe sharpen the bird a wee bit, to get some more detail? Well done and thanks for sharing

Jim this is a lovely shot, I have been looking around for a perch like this for years!! I like the composition, the leaves are sharp the wing bar is sharp, I am pretty sure the area around the eye is sharp but I would suggest a little more sharpening around that area.

Very handsome image, Jim. The small-in-frame warbler pops nicely, and is beautifully framed by his leafy perch. Nicely done. Looking forward to warbler season.

I truly beautiful presentation of this species, Jim. It is good to live close to a place that has migrating Warblers.

Love the loose framing and that all those leaves are sharp and fall in your DOF. The warbler is beautiful and I really like the head tilt. An all around sweet image Jim.

I agree with the above. The framing of the subject by the vegetation and the BG make this image great

Love the green in the image, I agree with most of whats been already said. Like how the bird has been framed by the green.

If it were mine, I would try a vertical version with a tighter comp and less green. just keeping the green leaf clusters immediately above and below the bird.
