Good job again. I like the skimming pose. I'd tone down the brightest whites if mine, and perhaps crop even more at bottom for a more pano comp.

The pose is very dynamic, but the IQ lacks a bit. the whites look blown to me and I am not seeing much detail on the bird. Agree with pano crop

Thanks for the comments, Dan and Arash. Here is the raw file opened in photoshop. My exposure is fine looking at the datas and there is no blown white pixels. The lack of IQ you refer to comes from the fact that the 1/6400 speed still doesn't freeze the action? What would be your recommendation for the next try?

You need to recover the highlights a bit for web.

As for the softness, I think it comes from soft focus rather than shutter speed
