What kind of Gull?

I photographed this gull over the Illinois River by Starved Rock State Park in Illinois on January 16. It was diving for fish along with ring-billed gulls. Can you identify the species?

Looks like a pretty typical adult Herring Gull.

Looks good for a Herring Gull to me too... Larg-ish bill, pale eye, a bit less black on the wing tips than Ring-bills.... and those pretty pink legs!
