Hey Terry.
While I love the colours and the general scene/composition, I find the overall contrast and tone to be very flat, as if you overcooked the the shadows/highlights slider...
I'd love to see a "straight out of camera" version to compare this with?

Morkel, thanks for your input. Here is a revised image with less harshness.

Also, here is a link to the original...http://www.tj622.com/images/TLJ_8063.jpg

Thanks Terry - this repost already looks much better to me...

Hi Terry, I love the scene too although I might have composed it a little different (more mountains with less masking by trees), but that's just a personal preference. I looked at the original and its underexposed in the FG which means its going to be sub optimal when you lift it, although the RP is not too bad... Would be a good choice for a blended image, where you blend one exposed for the sky and another exposed for the shadows in the FG. Would love to see this country..

Hi Terry
To me the first post is like a painting to hang on the wall with a nice frame.
The re-edit has a comfortable naturalness about it and would go in my landscape keeper photo album if I had one !!
Pleasant scene & I like the centre FG rock which adds depth.

HI Terry,I prefer the repost your shadow should have some black and contrast to them.If this was mine I wuld now work on bringing some life to the mountains by pulling some more detail and contrast.

Hi Terry, a nice scene and I agree that the repost is a big improvement. Don makes a good suggestion regarding the detail and contrast improvements that could be made to the repost. I am not liking the tree branches on the right side of the frame, I find them to be quite distracting.

A little late to your post, Terry. I like what you've done with the revised post after having a look at your original file. Well done.
