Harvestman or Alien?

These bright coloured Harvestmen (Opilione) were all over a nature reserve we visited on the outskirts of Iquitos in Perú

Onboard flash fired using a polystyrene coffee cup as a diffusor

Cropped for composition and cleaned a lot of debris on the leaf beneath

Selective sharpening on subject

I like that a lot. I probably would have taken a little more off the bottom making it 16:9, just because I like that ratio on my monitors and I find the oof legs a tiny bit distracting.

Wonderful and different! I love the colors and detail. I think taking some off the bottom could be a nice idea.

I think the 16:9 crop is an excellent idea, I like the shot with bold colours and it is really unusual, it looks almost man - made, if you look at the thighs where they join the body - a fascinating image - I just keep looking and re-looking at it.

I am at work with no PS but just did a quick crop using paint in the 16:9. I added slightly more to the bottom as the 16:9 looked a bit narrow in my opinion

Tell me if you think its better? I am just getting an idea so I redo the PSD later at home
