I was too close to the bird and decided to get a good portrait to show off the details, the colours & that gorgeous red eye. Hope you like the tiny feet too!

Very nice exposure control and IQ.
I would prefer either a tighter portrait or to see all the bird.
IMO the branch tends to be in front of the bird's beak and eye, thus for me it breaks the bird's natural space.
Nonetheless it's a nice work where we can really see all the details!

Beautiful bird and lovely detail Sanjeev... I too would prefer a tighter, possibly vertical crop.

Hi Sanjeev - Great sharpness and detail. Light looks nice too. You needed to take the 1.4 off but I don't know if the bird would have stayed still long enough for you to do so.

Great detail Sanjeev I think it might stand a tighter crop removing the perch. Worth a try maybe ?
