Hi Ed,
Great composition and exposure. I like that frosted look on the flower. The dark rich hues in your background makes the flower stand out. Very nice...:D

Very well presented Ed - a lovely bloom with complimentry foliage and a great BG!!!

Nice subject, good sharpness, DOF, focus, colors, water droplets and BG all look good. Nice work.

Now....I would say a little more room on the crop, and I would try a wamer WB in the conversion, try cloudy or use the slider in ACR/Lightroom. I think a wamer tone would really look great!

Trim from the right, remove fuzzy from the right-side leaflet. How are you successfully handholding that early in the morning? ;7)

Rule 1: No caffeine! :D;)

Actually, I really prefer to work off of a tripod. But that morning, the light was good and I thought I could get away with handholding. But it was the usual thing. I was laying prone on the ground, using my elbows and forearms as my base. But you know all that stuff! ;)
