The Golden Gate Highlands

Here's another photo from our Christmas weekend camping trip to a special part of South Africa.
This was taken handheld one afternoon as we were driving around showing the kids the marvelous mountainscapes of the Golden Gate Highlands, situated in the Maluti mountains, part of the greater Drakensberg range.

This is quite majestic Morkel..!!! I love the sky and the cloud, very 3D. I also like the use of the valley leading into the range from the bottom RHS. The grass in FG is very warm but I am sure this is taken as the sun was setting by the shadow length so colours will be as shown. Very impressive image, no nits..

The sky is really nice although I think I might have gone with a bit more saturation.
The land is pastural and very nice.
