Was walking down the park and saw this Great Blue Heron Chilling by the bridge.

I like the bird itself, good sharpness and colors, but there are a lot of branches that mess with the photo overall.Personally, I would cut a bit ot the bottom and put up more background on the top of the frame to add to the composition.

A nice find in good light, but the out of focus foreground elements are a problem. Ones that cross over a subject should be avoided of at all possible. If not, the image is usually just a record shot. It's too bad, because the color of the environment matches the brownish tones in the bird very nicely. If this is a place you can easily return to, it would be good to see if you can catch the bird in a better environment. If this is a regular parking place for it, I'd consider cutting out a window in the foreground branches, if that's possible.
