Karl:

Another beauty. The bank is great, just enough clouds in bg to give it some depth. Nicely exposed.

I might give a sliver more room top and bottom, but fine as is.

Cheers

Randy

love the topside view and BG, but he is a bit soft, maybe more sharpening will help

Hi Karl, great banking angle showing the full wingspan. Excellent exposure, and love the hint of cloud in the sky BG.

What a great topside view of the LTD. I have been trying for 2 years to get this nice of a shot.
Kudos to you!
Is that the water with waves as a BG or is it the sky?

Thanks Gail.
It's the water with some blur applied.

Great capture Karl. Nice image, maybe a wee bit more sharpening if it can take it. Well done.

I am still waiting for our LTD to arrive from Russia like they did last year :S3:

Thanks for sharing

Karl, I agree it's a great banking top side view. Hope to get one like it in Nome this coming June. Great shot

Grand shot Karl. Just the rght banking angle. Irckon it could stand a tiny bi of darkening. No big deal though.

Thank you Artie.
It was just below the head when the shot was taken.

Killer flight pose and one of the best I've seen of this species. I think I'd give it a little more room top, bottom and right. THe bird's head doesn't look sharp to my eyes.

Thanks Karl. You might try a Contrast Mask on the face only: Unsharp Mask at 15/65/0. On the optimized TIFF before you create the JPEG. As detailed in Digital Basics. (https://store.birdsasart.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=252)

Agree on all points. Karl, would you be so kind as to post the full frame original as a JPEG?
