This was taken in Costa Rica last year. The two tanagers were further apart so I took some of the perch out to close up the distance between them. I was trying to get two in one frame with decent HA's and this one was it. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

A beauty, Jim. Gorgeous birds with good HA as you noted; nice Costa Rican perch, beautiful BG. Well exposed. RH bird looks just a bit more sharpened to my eye -- almost but not quite to the point of crunchiness around the eye. Nice PP work in the splice.

Wonderfull birds and picture! I don't know how it could be better, perhaps only if the birds were in symmetric positions, but the way they are it gives life to the image.

Jim looked hard to find your work on the perch without success ,birds ,b/g and perch all look excellent to me.

Very nice Jim. Never seen these birds before. The birds are sharp.perch looks great along with a lovely BG. Well done and thanks for sharing
