Lovely neat little bird Satish, your image shows lots of fine feather detail which is really good, nice b/g not a big fan of the perch but if this is the perch it chose not a lot you can do about that. Very nice job.

Satish:

The hazy bright sun gave you lots of detail in the darks, not always easy to do on a black bird and bright day. Nice grip on the perch. The bg is very soft, but my personal preference has been to go with a little more texture if its there, to help with the sense of depth in the image. A tiny head turn our way would have been nice

Cheers

A beauty, Satish. Very nice detail in the darks and lights. Like his crest slightly raised. I might crop in from top about an inch.

Thank you so much for the feed back Sir. BG is part of green crop and dry grass at the distance. I have checked all images, background is soft only.
I do have another frame with tiny head turn towards viewer, however I liked this frame so though to post it.

Satish.

Cute bird and you did well with the black plumage. I agree with cropping a bit from above...but I would add that back to the bottom if you have it (this would show more of the perch and place the subject higher in the frame). Well done overall!

Thanks for the comments, Andr.
Sorry forgot to reply. This has been taken at 400mm focal distance, however quite close. (may be 15 feet) I cannot quote the distance since my camera has stopped showing shooting distance.

Good job on exposure and good details, I see some shadow along the added perch on left side and some pattern on the darker area, so I think that just cropping a slice from top of the frame without adding at the bottom will look better. The original post works better for me and I like it.
