Wonderful scene Dan nicely composed the only issue I have is the strong color cast. Here is a repost with most of the blue color cast gone I used two layers one with a curve adjustment and the other one was the color balance layer where I added a touch of green.

Lovely scene here Dan. I like the contrast of the green and the blues. Though the blues may be a bit strong, I think Don's repost has removed too much of it.
I do like how he rendered the upper section colours - I would go for something midway between the two? I can feel the cold at the bottom.

Hi Dan
Happy New Year... Beautiful scene, nicely executed. The impact ice stacked onto one side of all the branches screams 'cold' to me... as a by the way, its going to be about 102F here in Perth today... I agree with Don WRT colour and Morkel's suggestion would work better for me to.

Thanks, all
and Don L, I did leave it blue for the cold factor, i think what you did is fine and I think Morkel's suggestion about right.

No problem I just do not associate a blue color cast as cold since snow is white.

Hi Dan, nicely composed and I think I am leaning somewhere between your original post and Don's repost as well.
