Looks like its the oystercatcher season.... :)
It was fun to watch them through the lens as well as just looking at them from close quarters. I got many shots of this bird's feeding activity. I liked this one with a 'non overpowering' splash...
5d3+ 700 handheld, lying flat in sand, 1/5000, iso 500, 5.6, almost fullframe.

Im hoping for someday get to photograph such a wonderful bird. The image is really nice, great detail on the bird with a clean blue BG. I may rotate it a bit clockwise.

This is great Amol. Great specimen, IQ is perfect, beautiful light, nice gesture, I love the windblown feathers. It might just be me, but it looks ever so slightly like it needs some clockwise rotation.

Very nice image Amol.
You have a terrific low viewpoint, a nice pose and head angle and I like the splash created by the foot.
Good IQ as well. Agree on CW rotation,

Thanks Guys, Now that it has been pointed out the rotation is now hurting my eyes..lol I will repost with the correction.
