European Dwarf Mantis (Ameles spallanzania). I found it on Lavender plant (late spring time). The bottom part of the plant was brown where mantis was hidden. To move the mantis in the green part of the plant I touched it with my finger. This species is much smaller (let say 4-5 times) than regular European mantis (Mantis religiosa).

A very interesting little mantis giving you a great pose! Plus, all the techs (sharpness, DOF, comp, exposure, background) are spot on. Very nice work!

Amazing sharpness and detail! And what an interesting shape. It reminds me of a figure from Alice in Wonderland -- was it The Red Queen??

Amazing shot of this species. Lovely composition and sharpness. The green BG works very nicely too
Can you post a picture of how you are setting up your twin lights?
Thanks a lot for sharing

Thank you. I guess you mean how to mount twin lights on Sigma 180mm f/2.8. I used my typical setup (handmade with ebay components):

Miro - outstanding I think you have created a superb image. I cannot think of anything to improve other than consider a tiny bit more canvas on the right hand side.
