This was taken in late fall in lake St. Clair. I was moving a boatlift out of the water when this duck swam by. I was already in waders so I had the camera passed down to me and took some low images. The water was real cold and my hands were numb from being in the water for 3 hours before this duck arrived. All C&Cs are welcome and appreciated.

I like the low angle and soft light, I would put less space above him

Jim can't see any camera shake( hands were numb from being in the water for 3 hours before this duck arrived) well done, lovely low angled shot of this relaxed looking duck.

Love the POV and the perfect head turn.
Nice to see the tail like that,
Gail

The wait was worth it! Nice low angle, nice light, and sharp. That tail resting on the water is ratehr neat. Comp works for me.

I like the low POV and the swimming pose with the lowered tail. The details and exposure look perfect. I like the idea of more of a pano for this.
You need to migrate to sunny So Cal during the winter.
You guys in Canada are animals when it comes to the cold. I was in Wyoming a few months ago and the camera and lens got so cold that it is almost imposable to hold without gloves. Stay warm.
