Captured this a few days ago in our usual dismal lighting conditions. Noise reduction on BG, none on bird.
Nikon D4, 500mm, 1/1250@F7.1, ISO 5000, tripod and blind.

I like the inquisitive pose, sharpness, BG and composition. The perch has a little too much going on for me but that is where he chose to land. Nice image Roy.

Fantastic bird, love the sharp eye and inquisitive look. The perch is not my favorite and I would place a different one if I would had a chance! I would boost exposure a tad. TFS

Thanks everyone for the comments. As for the perch, I was out walking the dog when I saw this plant and decided to bring it home and try it out. A little different from the lichen and moss covered perches I often use. Guess it didn't work.:bg3:
