While photographing a few other shorebirds in a larger puddle of water by a golf course on a rainy day, I notice this little fellow was all by it self in the smallest of all puddles.

I like the low angle, walking pose and sharpness. For my taste I would crop up from the bottom, about half way to the puddle. Nice image Ray.

Very nice! I also favor a little cropped from the bottom, and/or a subtle gradient darkening there.

Really like all the greenery in this image and of course that sharp little wader with it's walking pose, agree with Jim re the crop.

This is excellent.
I love the little grasses in the puddle and all that green.
Agree on taking some off the bottom.

Hi Raybel, excellent low angle, and great that you captured the semi raised foot out the water. Interesting BG showing the strip of water, works for me, and another vote for taking at least half off the bottom.
