At about a month ago, while visiting Serra da Estrela here in Portugal, i ended up in a sweet place for the sunset, and while waiting for it the light reaping the moutains gave me this panorama.
Nikon d7000, 90mm, f8 Aperture and a shutter speed of 1/100s.

I wrote a simple blog post out of it, aldo i`m portugues i always include a english version. You can check it at http://www.luispatacao.com/#!blog/chkn

Wonderful! I love how haze front-scatters low sunlight, simplifying and removing the human element from the landscape (well, except for the power poles) and enveloping the hills in mystique.

Hi Luis!
You framed this well, and exposed it just right.
You can post up to 1200px wide here, which would help us appreciate these kinds of scenes more.
Gotta love that light!

Lovely light Luis...I would prefer the scene without the hydro poles though. Looks like a wonderful place! Look forward to seeing more!

Beautiful Luis... The light is magical and you have made the most of it with the comp.... Pity about the wind turbines...

Thanks for all the feedback, the wind turbine are a necessary evil as this is one of the most windy locations in my country!

Wondeful light and color if this were mine and I was presenting it as a fine art image I would remove the turbines
