Beautiful image. The great feathers of the BGH makes always for a good image. Im curious to know if you ran a noise reduction on the birds and then sharpen it? Some of the small feathers seems to be smooth out while the edges seems to be sharp. I may also consider moving the bids to the middle. Im all for not placing the subject in the middle but I think it may work fine for this image.

A great image Stuart--it's magical to catch a moment like this and preserve it.

Stuart I would never have thought of cropping an image like this, works really well IMHO, lovely colours and sharpness on the birds.

Love the light.
I think you can open up the blacks a bit to get more detail in them.
I would also take some canvas off the RHS.
Nice image Stuart,

The lighting is incredible!...Love the juxtaposition of the birds, the crossing of the plumes, and the crests. Nice job for a cropped shot. Sharon

Stunning light, wonderful poses. A beautiful image. It would be even better if there were a little more detail in the neck areas and wing feathers, that seem a bit flat.

I really like this one!
Wonderful warm light, beautiful subjects, very nice interaction and if mine, I would center the birds a bit more as there is too much empty space on right and very little on left.
