This is another from my outing to Joe Overstreet Road in Osceola County, Florida. There may be some who would prefer a perch other than a fence post. This bird loves pasture land and pasture land is bordered by fences and fence posts, so natural for this bird to use them as perches. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Hi Joseph, looks like something is irritating his foot - cool pose. Thats quite a beak they have, looks pretty dangerous for the size of the bird. I do like the yellows on this species, and the feather detail looks good. Im fine with the fence post as a perch. Im finding the overall image a touch bright/light, so adding a multply blending layer wont harm this. :w3

Like the pose Joseph and I dont mind the perch too much. As i said in the images before and after ths one- to me some graduated or OOF background would improve it for me.

Cheers
John

Joseph the bird looks pin sharp, the post is what it is, and not a problem for me, it looks very good as posted but after reading Stuarts comment (overall image a touch bright/light)hope you don't mind but I tried it with just a fine touch of gamma which I think gives a little more body, but Joseph this is just a personal thing and of course could be very wrong. It's a very good image as posted would be pleased if it was mine.

Cheers Keith.
